Flight Controls
Many types of flight control units are within our capability, for example, dual system hydraulic actuators, valves, servo's and complete elevator, aileron and rudder booster assemblies, to include linear and rotary electro-mechanical actuation.
Flap screwjacks and main landing gear ballscrews are also overhauled in this department.
Our test equipment enables us to apply the following pressures and loads:
Hydraulic systems up to 8,000 P.S.I. Static
Hydraulic systems up to 5,000 P.S.I. Dynamic Flow
Electrical systems up to 3.000 P.S.I. Tensile and Compressive Load
Mechanical systems up to 2.400 Lbs. Actuating Load
Mechanical systems up to 3,000 Lbs. Static Load
Pneumatic systems up to 4,000 P.S.I. Static
Pneumatic systems up to 300 C.F.P.M. Flow at 160 P.S.I.
Our flow and load rigs are constantly under review to enable us to keep abreast of modern aircraft technology.
